PROSPECTIVE TENANT FAQ

How can I apply for an apartment?

Any of our leasing agents can email you an application directly, or you can contact us at 414-224- 7570 to request this. You may also apply by clicking “Apply” under the Vacancies tab. Please keep in mind, all tenants (and co-signers, if applicable) must fill out an application. There is a $25 application fee that covers the background and credit checks performed.

Make sure to have a photo ID and income verification (paystub, tax return, offer letter, etc.) available via picture, scan or PDF to upload.

Our application is located on a secure site, and all application fees paid and information entered is safe.

What is required to be approved for an apartment?

  • We require that the average gross monthly income to be three times the rent
  • We require a good credit score
  • We don’t accept applicants who have had an eviction within the last 5 years. Older evictions are evaluated on a case-by- case basis
If you don’t meet these requirements, a co-signer can be added to your application.

Do you accept co-signers?

Yes, co-signers will apply for apartments like all other applicants. A $25 application fee is required for co- signer applications as well. Please contact your leasing agent to have the application sent to a co-signer, call 414-224- 7570 or apply via the Vacancies page.

How long does it take to process an application?

Once all applications have been submitted, it will take about 24 working hours to review the application.

If there are any issues with the application we will reach out to you directly via email, text or call.
If you are approved, an electronic lease and requirements will be emailed to you, along with thetimeline for completion will be emailed to you.

Can I pay the deposit to hold the apartment before completing the application?

We do not accept deposits prior to applications being approved.

How do I sign my lease and pay the deposit?

If you are approved, an electronic lease and requirements will be emailed to you, along with the timeline for completion will be emailed to you. You will do this all online.

I’ve paid my deposit and signed the lease, now what?

A signed lease will be emailed to you within 24 working hours, if it hasn’t been please call our office at 414-224- 7570.

You will be contacted by our office to schedule a key pick up. You will need to pay your first months rent in order to receive keys. You can do this online, or in person at key pick up.

If electricity is not included in your rent, make sure to call WE Energies prior to your lease start date.
